- Sacrifices have been made in order to meet the aggressive price-point. The Concord Eye-Q 5062AF unfortunately proves that you never get something for nothing.

- Verdict
- An easy to use, well-built digital camera that will create good qualityprints up to A4 in size.

- 10x optical zoom, professional styling, relatively inexpensive
- The Bad
- Limited ISO range, visible noise at higher ISOs, not a pocket camera
- Verdict
- If a minature-SLR digital camera which has a 10x optical zoom appeals to you, then the FinePix S5000 Zoom definitely fits the bill.

- Fantastic tool for the aspiring amateur photographer, vibrant images with good colour, no chromatic aberrations
- The Bad
- Noise very apparent at ISO 200 and faster, initally cluttered design, operation of the zoom is quite noisy
- Verdict
- The Olympus C-8080 Wide Zoom is a great all-in-one solution and a real alternative to the weight and bulk of a DSLR with several lenses

- Exceptionally easy to use, instantly feels

- Only adequate image quality, large amounts of chromatic aberrations, lack of full photographic control
- Verdict
- The Ricoh Caplio RX would make a brilliant pocketable camera, but its lack of photographic control and average image quality turns it into a near-miss.

- Delivers punchy, well-saturated images straight out of the camera, uncluttered and logical design of both the camera body and its menu system, striking looks
- The Bad
- Doesn't offer enough photographic control. noise at higher ISOs, optical viewfinder too small to use effectively
- Verdict
- The µ[mju:] 410 Digital is perfect as a small, portable, hard-wearing camera that you could carry round with you at all times
