Does this compact 24x zoom bridge camera get closer to perfection?
16 September 2009 9:00 GMT

- Like many big zoom cameras that try and do it all, there’s as much here to delight as disappoint. The wider creative possibilities offered by that broader focal range shouldn’t be underestimated, and, once used, going back to that 3x zoom compact will seem tough

- Camera resolution is dated, performance in low light is poor, it won't take stills and it's all too easy to cover up by accident

Crank: High Voltage - DVD
A wind-up or a turn-on?
11 September 2009 12:00 GMT
- The Good
- The insanely paced, tongue-in-cheek direction means it’s never less than totally compelling
- The Bad
- Despite its dubious merits it’s also visibly risible, and just as likely to aggravate as amuse. And Geri Halliwell makes an appearance. I repeat, Geri Halliwell makes an appearance
- Verdict
- An absurdist bonanza of sex and violence that delivers a constant stream of gags and shocks, Crank: High Voltage will simultaneously appal and enthral – indifference isn’t an option

- Video camera is a useful addition, core functionality remains great
- The Bad
- Lack of still photo taking capability is disappointing, price is always high with Apple
