    The Good
Auto sharpening, colour restoration, scratch/dust removal processing and the like
    The Bad
The auto crop before scan doesn’t get things right and can even give a horizontal crop to a vertical image! Dust removal software works but is not capable of dealing with dirty originals and the auto scaling/resolution settings don’t allow enough control

  • Clerks 2 - DVD. Home Cinema, DVD, Comedy 0

    Clerks 2 - DVD

4.0 Smith's back but is Clerks a second stroke of genius or a poor trip down memory lane? 22 February 2007 11:00 GMT
    The Good
A brilliant Silence of the Lambs parody from Jay & Silent Bob, Dawson is a welcome new face to the regular View Askew team, the spectacularly orchestrated “inter-species erotica” finale is Smith at his finest
    The Bad
O’Halloran and Anderson simply can’t act, a lazy discussion about the Star Wars movies - which tries to recreate the brilliance of the original’s Death Star sub-contractors debate - just serves to highlight the difference in class between the two films, Smith’s screenplay is beset with trite clichés such as “today is the first day of the rest of our lives”
    Verdict
It will definitely make you laugh unless you’ve never been amused by the vulnerability, nerdiness and innate slobbishness of masculinity
    Price
    £20

4.0 Best Scorsese film of the decade? 21 February 2007 13:00 GMT
    The Good
The opening Goodfellas-style voiceover announces that Scorsese is back to his best, a gloriously macho script from William “Kingdom of Heaven” Monahan, Oscar-worthy supporting turns from Jack Nicholson and Mark Whalberg
    The Bad
DiCaprio fails to pose the significant physical menace that his character demands, Scorsese might have benefited from chopping 15 minutes from the lengthy running time

    The Good
Tough, fits all Video iPod models, flip-out stand
    The Bad
Flip out stand hard to get to flip out
    Verdict
It’s a case that does a very good job at protecting your iPod from getting scratched, however we found its main selling point - the aluminium flip out stand was hard to flip out
    Price
    £17

    Price

Penelope Cruz is simply brilliant as the beautiful, life toughened Raimunda, Almodovar shows a lightness of touch and a humane understanding of human vulnerability, an outstanding supporting cast that includes a touching, but comical turn from Almodovar regular Carmen Maura
