Gore’s boyish passion for the project is infectious, director Davis Guggenheim has turned a potentially mind-numbing slide show into a riveting documentary, perfectly suited to the small screen, Gore puts the facts in layman’s terms, making the complicated subject matter easily digestible for all ages

The Bad
Gore’s political past may put some viewers off, the glimpses into Gore’s own childhood are unnecessary distractions

Verdict
This is a witty, insightful, and downright terrifying lecture, delivered with conviction, passion and a geeky charm

Overall, the pairing of gross-out gags and traditional rom-com proves not to be a marriage made in heaven
