The iPhone iOS 4 isn't the only operating system from Apple to get an update on Thursday. The iPad has got a host of fixes too.
The new 3.2.1 update, which is rolling out to iPads around the world as you read this, promises to improve Wi-Fi connectivity, amongst other things.
The fix comes after some users initially complained that the tablet from Apple struggled to find a Wi-Fi network around homes - in some cases even though the device was practically sitting on the hotspot.
Other smaller fixes include:
- Fixes an issue that could prevent copy and paste of single-page PDF attachments in Mail.
- Addresses an issue that could cause video playback to freeze.
- Improves reliability of video-out when using iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter.
- Adds Bing as an option for Safari's search field.
iPad users are being automatically prompted to update when they connect their device to iTunes.
There aren't details within the update to suggest that 3G models will also be getting a change for the way the "bars" are shown on the device.
If you've downloaded the new 3.2.1 update for the iPad, let us know if you spot anything different.
