iPhone 5 to address reception problems?

6 July 2010 11:39 GMT / By Rik Henderson

Steve Jobs walks into a bar... Which disappears because of the way he's holding his iPhone.

Batasha! Thank you, we're here all week...

Look, we know the pic's not real (although it's more convincing than the HTC Vision caught "in the wild"), but it made us laugh so we thought we'd pass it on.

Flickr user petermorgan.uk could well have created the ideal solution for ensuring that the next iPhone keeps its signal strength even in poor reception areas.

Of course, there could still be a software fault that shows too many bars in a certain area (a bit like a Google Map of an earthquake hotspot), but you'd certainly be able to hold it any way you want.

Now, where were we.... Oh yes... Take my Wi-Fi... Pur-lease!
