If you've been following Pocket-lint over the last few weeks then you'll know that we're a tad excited about the forthcoming Rock Band 3 title. We almost squealed with delight when we received confirmation that there would be a keyboard option in the game. Heck, we did squeal with delight in fact, and we're not ashamed to admit it.

So you can imagine our excitement when we saw this video of Harmonix demoing it at E3. This excitement was only enhanced by the excellent song choice as well. Whitesnake's Here I Go Again. That's some fine glam-rock right there.

Within the game is all the Rock Band features you'd expect as well as a few new surprises. As well as the keyboard, which will feature in most songs, there's also an enhanced character creator as well as mini movies to tie in with the game's narrative arch.

Another new addition is the "Pro-Mode" where you'll have to rock your instruments in a much more realistic fashion. There's also the "Road Challenge" mode where you and your pals can embark on two 4-hour challenges of touring with your band.

The demo features the all-instrument mode where you can have up to seven people joining in - three on vocals, one on keyboards, one on bass, one on lead guitar and one on the drums.

There's going to be 83 tracks built into the game disc and it will be out later this year on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS.
