It's amazing the hype that one little screen grab can generate. Following the release of a Green Day Rock Band demo to Xbox Live gold subscribers, a wave of keyboard-related rumours have sprung up in the webiverse.
And it's all because the exit screen contained a little picture of what appears to be some keyboard keys. Why keyboard and not piano? Well, chances are people aren't going to set up a full Baldwin in their living rooms.
If there is going to be keyboard action in Rock Band 3, we're hoping for some classic 80s keyboard riffs like Jonathan Cain's sweet synth in Journey's Separate Ways or the electro-funky solo in Bon Jovi's Runaway.
Incidentally, if you want to have a bash at playing Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams or Welcome to Paradise then get the demo here.
