We brought you news of the launch of a new pile of social networking phones back in April. Today we caught up with a brace of those handsets, the C3 (the pink one) and the C6 (the one that looks like the N97), whilst sitting in on a discussion about Nokia design, where Nokia said it was "in the business of social change".
We know you guys like flicking through glossy pics, here we have it. The Nokia C2 is a QWERTY social mobile. It is a Symbian Series 40 handset, designed to be affordable and pitched straight at those who want to get busy with messaging. It has a 2-megapixel camera and a 2.4-inch screen.
The second model we have on display today is the C6, a Symbian Series 60 device, which is a side-slider with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and a 5-megapixel camera strapped on the back. It looks a little like a N900 and N97 mashup, minus the tilty-slidey screen.
As both handsets are designed to be "affordable" they don't have the same solid build quality as you get on the N8, which we also saw today.
Both handsets are looking to land in June and Nokia asked us to declare that these handsets are both pre-production models, hence the C0 markers, rather than the final handset names.
All the details are over on the Nokia website, links below.
