While excited gamers across the country unwrap the packaging of Modern Warfare 2, one of the most anticipated video games of recent times, The Onion has revealed footage of the next installment in the series.

Modern Warfare 3 will apparently offer the most true to life military gameplay ever created, whether it's hauling around equipment from place to place, chatting waiting with fellow soldiers, repairing equipment or completing paperwork.

With beta testers said to be "impressed" with what they've seen of the new title, you can hit play now on the video above for a sneak preview of what's in store for the war-themed shoot-'em-up with footage from the next version revealed here.
