Headfunk unleashes "Badass Buds" earphones

"Targeted at the Skate/Surf generation"

Headfunk unleashes

1 June 2009 17:05 GMT / By Duncan Geere

PATH Group, the company behind Caselogic and IXOS cables, has announced a new headphone brand called Headfunk. Aimed at what the company describes as "the Skate/Surf generation", the first product in the range are the "Badass Buds".

Twin 8mm neodymium drivers coated with titanium come housed in "Phat Black", "Red Mist" "Urban Grey" and "Icey Whitey" coloured silicon eartips.

Extra sensitivity should mean that you'll be able to turn down the volume of your player a little to save battery, or just blast your ears out. However, the company isn't publishing any specs, so you'll have to take their word on that sensitivity boost, as well as "thumpin' bass".

If you want them, you can buy them right now for £50.
